Your Free Consultation: In planning your ceremony, we can meet at Abby Chapel or talk on the phone and ask and answer a few questions of one another to determine:
Are we the right fit for each other for your special ceremony... If so:
We will go over and fill out a questionnaire/agreement form.
A $100.00 non-refundable deposit to reserve your date and time, check or cash will be required with balance due 2 weeks before the wedding date.
We will go over the type of ceremony that is right for you and choose the elements that will personalize your very special ceremony.
I will write your specialized ceremony, email it to you for your approval, you are welcome to make any changes so it will be perfect for you before emailing it back to me.
I have found for most average sized weddings rehearsals are not necessary; however, if you choose I can attend, if my schedule allows. My fee is 50% of the cost of the ceremony. Usually it will take more time for the rehearsal than for the ceremony itself.
Marriage License: You should apply for your marriage license anytime 4-60 days before the ceremony. With a quality black ink pen utilizing someone with good penmanship fill in your part of the forms in advance, leaving just the signing for your wedding day .Select your two witnesses age18 or over.
On your Wedding Day if your ceremony is at the Abby please arrive 15-30 minutes early, this will depend upon the amount of guest you have. I do have a changing room you may use if needed. When I travel to your wedding site I will arrive about 30 minutes before the ceremony and coordinate with your wedding planner, the wedding party, photographers, and those involved with the service. If the rehearsal is before the ceremony I can arrive earlier if requested. Your wedding license signing can be done at this time as well, or during, or immediately following the ceremony please decided in advance.
My Attire: Black robe, dark suit, monk’s habit or anything to fit in with your themed wedding. Gratuities are a method of showing an extra bit of thanks to your Officiant or any service professional for a job well done. We gladly accept them, but they are never expected or solicited. |
